Specialised Non-Invasive Pelvic Floor Treatment

Emsella is a non-invasive treatment option that is specifically designed to target and strengthen pelvic floor muscles. This clinically proven therapy uses breakthrough technology for the treatment of incontinence and intimate wellbeing in both men and women. EMSELLA is both FDA approved and TGA cleared (ARTG #302821).

During each 28 minute session, HIFEM technology induces over 11,000 supramaximal contractions of the pelvic floor muscles, making it a safe and effective method of rebuilding muscle and increasing muscle strength and control.

It is a walk in, walk out treatment that requires zero downtime. Clients are able to remain fully clothed during treatment and resume their daily activities immediately.

At Pelvix we have designed a purpose built, mobile studio, making treatments more accessible to those in regional South-East NSW and the ACT.

Emsella Treatment

The Pelvic floor muscles (PFM) support pelvic organs, help control continence, and play a crucial role in healthy sexual function. However, when they become weakened or damaged, it can lead to numerous other issues such as urinary incontinence or sexual dysfunction.

Due to the already weakened muscles, a large portion of incontinent patients or patients with impaired sexual function are unable to perform correct PFM contractions and lack effective muscle activation.

This is where the Emsella comes in… It uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) energy to effectively target and stimulate the entire pelvic floor area, contracting over 11,000 times per session. The key to the effectiveness of HIFEM is that it is able to achieve involuntary contractions of the PFM to a higher tension than what could be achieved by voluntary muscles actions (ie Kegel exercises).

Due to the high-repetition-rate and effectiveness of contractions, HIFEM directly modifies the muscle structure helping to restore neuromuscular control and muscle strength.
